Tighter Integration with Artesia DAM will Enhance FeedRoom Video Offerings as Customer Base Grows and Needs Evolve

Chicago, IL - February 12, 2008 - Open Textâ„¢ (NASDAQ: OTEX, TSX: OTC), a global leader in enterprise content management (ECM), today announced that The FeedRoom Inc., a leading provider of Web video and digital media solutions and services, has broadened its use of Open Text's Artesia Digital Asset Management (DAM) solution as part of its ongoing mission to meet the evolving multimedia needs of its growing client base.

As part of a strategic agreement between the two companies, the Artesia Digital Media Group will promote The FeedRoom's services to its clients and prospects as an extension of the core asset management system. With this deeper integration in place, joint clients will benefit from the combination of best-in-class digital asset management with a flexible solution for rich media distribution. In turn, The FeedRoom will promote the use of the Artesia DAM solution with clients seeking a robust digital asset management system, both in a managed service or self-service environment.

"We are very excited to expand our use of Artesia's offerings and allow our customers to take full advantage of what we see as the tipping point of multimedia communication," said Mark Portu, CEO and president of The FeedRoom Inc. "The Artesia Digital Asset Management solution is a key component to our offering because of its scalable, robust and efficient capabilities. Overall, we're very impressed with how Artesia is evolving - specifically its focus on Web services was an important factor for us. The model for multimedia management is becoming much more intuitive, so we need to empower our clients with a distribution system they can use to be successful in their business for years to come."

An Artesia customer since 2000, The FeedRoom offers complete Web video solutions for corporations, media/publishing organizations, and government agencies. Recognizing the need to offer clients more control in the entire rich media delivery process, Artesia DAM will enable users to efficiently manage and share the multitude of Web video and digital assets that come with each campaign including B-Roll distribution, annual town hall meetings, VOD and live training, product demos, testimonials, investor conferences, and live video coverage. Artesia DAM provides the core digital asset management capabilities for all of The FeedRoom clients' Web video and digital media assets within a secure, centralized Web-based system.

"The FeedRoom is at the forefront of the industry by offering these services to its clients," said Scott Bowen, President of Open Text's Artesia Digital Media Group. "With Artesia DAM at the core, The FeedRoom clients will have more control over their Web video and digital assets, in real-time, so they can get each campaign out to the market sooner."
